PATTERN IDEAS
We apologize no extra practice wire is included.
PLEASE NOTE: FOR SAFETY, BEADING KITS ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 5 YEARS.
INSTRUCTIONS:
The finished bracelets are just a piece of the fun. Kids will get the most benefit and will fully immerse themselves in the activity when challenged to come up with as many designs they can create. In other words, the magic is in the process, not just the finished product!

-
Have the children sort the beads into little piles (part of the fun)

-
Get your paper towel mats ready (2 placed together works best)

-
Parent makes one loop on each wire with round-nose pliers. Refer to video instructions. (serves to hold the beads on).

-
Child makes 1st design on beading wire. If they need help getting started, refer to samples below. Or, just as easy, tell them to choose 3 beads and make a pattern. After that their inspiration will pour out!

-
After 1st design made, for reference, snap a photo with phone. If several children are beading, put a nametag to identify each of the child's designs.

-
Remove beads and make the next design, and so on.

-
The sky's the limit for how many designs can be made. One suggestion is to have them come up with 5 patterns per day.

-
This activity can be drawn out into several sittings e.g. an hour a day - whatever works for your family and children's attention span.

-
When ready for the finished bracelet, child beads the design they like best and parents completes the 2nd loop with attached charm.
